This is Brenda Beaven, coordinator for the Cochrane District Crimestoppers board. The Timmins Police Service is appealing to the public to help identify a suspect in an assault.
On October 22nd, 2025, at approximately 11:00 in the morning, the male victim was conducting repairs to a downtown business in the City of Timmins when an unknown male struck him across the face with a gym bag and then threatened to stab the victim with a syringe, then fled the area running. A photo of the suspect can be seen on the mytimminsnow.com website and on the Crimestoppers website at cdcrimestoppers.ca. The suspect is described as male, 30-40 years old, wearing a black jacket, grey hoodie, blue jeans, black ball cap and black sunglasses
The police would like your help in indentiying this individual.

You will not be identified and will not have to testify in court and if your information leads to an arrest you could be eligible for a reward of up to $2000.
