This is Brenda Beaven, coordinator for the Cochrane District Crimestoppers board. The Timmins Police Service would like your help in identifying this thief.
On Sunday, August 9th, 2026 at approximately 4:15 in the afternoon a man entered Peoples Jewelers in the Timmins Square Mall located at 1500 Riverside Drive in Timmins.
The male tried on numerous items during the course of his time in the store. The suspect then requested to try on a $12,999.00 gold chain, the store representative assisted him with trying it on and then the male then fled the scene without paying for the chain.
The male is described as white standing about 5’6” to 5’ 7” tall, thin build wearing blue jeans, a beige long sleeve shirt with a white zipper, and a white flat cap style hat.
